Ongoing Initiatives
Capital of Life’s partners collaborate continuously to strengthen the life science cluster through joint initiatives, knowledge exchange and strategic working groups focusing on areas such as communication and KPIs.
What is happening in the working groups and what are others doing?
The 16 actors of the Capital of Life Operational Group meet monthly to inform, discuss and co-develop key aspects of advancing the cluster. Additionally, leading local politicians from Region Stockholm and Region Uppsala meet once a year to discuss life science questions and the cluster cooperation.
X working groups are working on the following questions:
- Capital of Life’s communication
- Capital of Life’s KPIs
- Xxx
Region Stockholm and Region Uppsala have developed a joint Life Sciences Strategy as part of their work on Capital of Life. This strategy was politically confirmed in June 2026 and serves as the guiding star for the joint effort.
