Flemingsberg Science contributes to Capital of Life by strengthening collaboration across the Stockholm-Uppsala life science ecosystem.
By connecting academia, healthcare, industry, investors, and the public sector, we help create conditions for innovation, growth, and international competitiveness. Through strategic partnerships, ecosystem development, and initiatives that support talent attraction, investment, and innovation, we contribute to making the region a leading life science hub.
Our work focuses on developing Flemingsberg as the southern life science node of the Stockholm-Uppsala region. We create meeting places, strengthen collaborations, support companies, and attract investments and new establishments. During 2025–2027, we also lead the ERDF-funded project Cluster Engine Life Science Flemingsberg, which aims to strengthen the establishment and growth of small and medium-sized life science companies in the Stockholm region.
